Dubai is one of the world's busiest private aviation hubs — by some measures the second-largest globally after Teterboro. The 2026 market has consolidated around 5-7 major operators, with substantial new fleet investment by VistaJet, Royal Jet and Empire Aviation. This guide covers what UHNW travellers in Dubai should actually know.
Floating-base operator with the largest premium-segment presence in Dubai. Bombardier Global 7500, Challenger 350/650 fleet. Program members get on-demand availability with fixed hourly rates ~USD 13,000-18,000/hour all-in. Strong for ad-hoc and program-member travel.
Abu Dhabi-headquartered but operates extensively from DXB and DWC. Premium-positioned with Boeing Business Jets, Gulfstream G650ER and a strong Government-and-Royal-Family relationship. Higher pricing tier; outstanding catering and crew. Often the right choice for diplomatic and Royal travel.
Dubai-based aircraft management + charter. Fleet rotation includes Gulfstream G650, G550, Bombardier Global 6000/Express. Strong for ultra-long-range routes.
Major MRO + charter presence at DWC. Premium service standards; the right choice when reliability and crew quality are non-negotiable.
Abu Dhabi-based with strong Dassault Falcon fleet. Good for mid-range routes and medical-evacuation specialty.
Charter pricing varies by aircraft category, route, and operator membership tier:
For 50+ flying hours per year, membership programs (VistaJet, NetJets) typically deliver 15-25% savings over ad-hoc charter when properly utilised. Below 25 hours/year, ad-hoc is more economical. The Sweet spot for membership is 50-150 hours/year.
DWC (Al Maktoum) is the dedicated private-aviation airport — faster ground time, dedicated FBOs, less commercial traffic. Drive time from central Dubai is 35-50 min vs 15-25 min to DXB. Most UHNW travellers prefer DWC despite the longer drive because total time (drive + airport processing + taxi) is usually lower.
We coordinate private jet charters across all major Dubai-based operators on behalf of UHNW clients — selecting the right aircraft for the route, negotiating pricing, managing catering and ground transport, and handling family logistics. View our jet charter service.
